I ordered sals chip last tuesday (5/2/00). I still haven't heard anything from him. I called last night and talk to his wife I guess. she took my info and said that he would be in contact with me within 48hrs. Well see. I also happen to be on aol just like PSP so I can check the status of e mail that I send him. I placed my order online and e mailed him the info for my truck. He hasn't even read it yet! I thought that I read some where on this board, a post my sal that said only the air filters are taking a long time, and that chips would only take a couple of days. Even faster if you order it online. That is one of the reasons I decided to go ahead and order from sal. Well its been over a week and I still don't have a chip. I could have one the next day From Paul's High Performance (superchips), in Jackson Mi. Thats who I belive High Risk gets his chips from, and I think that he has the fastest Lightning out there right now!

 

It's been said here before but I'll say it again. The best place to get a superchip is through Performace Products. Mike Troyer is very well informed and helpfull. They have a banner ad that pops up here every once in a while.

Well it has been 48hrs. Since my last contact with sals wife. When she promised me that he would get in touch with me within 48hrs. By phone or e mail. Guess what? It has been over 48hrs. No email, no phone call, and worse yet no chip! I really don't understand why everyone strokes sal so much. It really makes me sick. Is SAL his real name or dose it just stand for SLOW AND LAZY.

 

Hey ease up on Sal,, I think its pretty tacky going after his wife. If you don't like the service then cancel your order.

Why are people so rude? I have never seen Sal advertise you'll have your chip within xxhours or anything so what did you assume was going to happen? Hey mabey you can get the overnight freight charge back...

Hope you recover from being sick? Might be some crow eating on the road to recovery!!

Just kidding! Typhoon is correct. I asked Sal to stop using F-150 Online as a place of business several months ago.

 

I've got Sals intake with the Superchip(From Mike Troyer) on my 99, runs great. My only complaint, and its more a preference, is that the shifts could still be a bit firmer. Although, the shifts are Greatly improved from factory.

In my previous life with the 90 300ZX, Mike Troyer supplied me with a chip there too.
Mike is a great guy!!

While Sal works in mysterious ways, his product is great(At least the intake). I am sure his chip is excellent also.

For a stock truck, probably either chip would be great, sals intake is the ticket with the intake
