Thumbs up Still Fine after all these years

OK maybe it's not much to some, but to someone who's been through over 50 vehicles this is like owning something forever, "OR SOMETHING" ???
It usually looks like one big swirl mark up close after being outside 24/7 for now in it's 5th year. And after a couple of motors and got knows how many other operations, believe me it's not easy keeping it looking new @*($%@(&$
BUT MAN I GOT TO TELL YOU IT CLEANED UP NICELY THIS SPRING !!!

Took it to work today

And beat the every living chit out of it I may add. Man this has got to be illegal, because it's surly the most fun with your pants on I know of

I really have to get a set of street slicks or something though, you cant even get on the frigging thing without absolutely roasting the tires off the rims, I got 12K out of my orig F-1's, and honestly dont expect this new set to make 3K, it's actually quite annoying to tell you the truth, (not being able to get on it), and when you do and it finally hooks half a block later, the frigging thing throws you like a rag doll when the chassis straightens out.
It's outright impossible to go straight &@$^%*@&$%@(&$^%(@&$
I may add I'm getting pretty got dam good at doing smokeys in a "S pattern" baw ha ha ha ha ......

Took it to a Car Wash last night (ya I know I know) but I wanted to get the old wax off. Then did a quick Clay Bar rub and simply some Quik Detailer Spray. A bottle of Tire Goo and some Armorall, and wa la

God I love spring!!

Truck's looking good Rob!!! Except for that spoiler sticking out the back!!!
I doubt that the street DR's are going to do much better than the F-1's, unless mickey thompson finally come's out with the 18" version. I've had to learn, over the past year, how to drive partial throttle until I could jump out of the seat and plant the go pedal!
It's actually scary at time's, I'm somewhat concerned about going down the 1320 with the F-1's! Hopefully, I'll catch it before something bad happens??

Thanks Guys
and Bryan good luck with the F-1 thing hehehehe
Actually I've had some good luck on F-1's at the track, usually 1.8 / 1.9's,
so who knows maybe they'll surprise you ? All I know is on the street they suck monkey a$$. I hear you on the Street Slicks, were in desperate need for a good set of 18" stickys, I was thinking of trying the BF Goodrich G-Force T/A Drag Radial but I'm not sure if any of these sizes would work out ??? All I do know is the track is thee ONLY place I can get traction these days. One of the main reasons I go to the track is "THE LAUNCH", there's nothing like it in this world. To be able to FINALLY not only give it some, "BUT GIVE IT ALL", and it actually hooks and takes it, "WOO HOO" LIFT OFF BABY !!!

It funny your all talking about the suspension, I've been thinking the same thing. SO MUCH SO that next Friday I leave NY and go to Jersey (V's House)
Put a set of Front Coil Springs in (don't ask I have no clue, but they were V's and anything he had is good enough for me, hehehehehe) SOB will prob charge me 1 millllllion dollars @#$(@$%@$()%@$(@%$ : o ()
SO I am starting to FINALLY attack that. We would mess with the rear but I'm not sure what to do there yet ? plus I dont want to mess with my pinion angle the day before Cecil ; o ) To tell you the truth I hate the way my L sits,
I mean ya I leveled it out yrs ago with the drop shackles, but it's DEF still too high both front and back. Hopefully the front down an inch or two will put a little rake back in it, and then I got to figure the easiest way to drop the back down some more ???

Thanks Again, it's great to see the weather change, people going the the track again, and so many 1 of a kind L's in the works that will hit the scenes this year (Relax Flucking Hostile, don't let it go to your head I wasnt talking about Yours, Baw Ha ha ha ha..... ; o )

Ahh "The Launch"
