Rob, your second picture, where is the place you are at? Looks familiar. I spent 21 years in NYC and LI. I wish they left tracks there b/c I would then take the L up there and go to the strip.

Tell me about it I use to put my slicks on in my driveway, drive to Long Island MotorSports Park, make a few passes in the L, and be home less than 2 hours from when I left. I've even taken a late lunch and snuck there on Friday afternoons to make passes, then went back to work. It really sucks not having a track anymore

As for where,
The first two pic's are at work, Rt 112 in Medford (just So of LIE Exit 64)
The ones in the Driveway are that afternoon picking JR up at my P+M's house,
Eastwood Blvd in Centereach (No of Mid Country Rd behind Walmart)

Thanks again all, Thanks Rich,

Get a life old man...and while you're at it, get a clue. If he even STARTED to get close all he had to do was let off and he'd be fine.

Good deal, I used to live off exit 68 in the Shirley/Mastic area. It is amazing how much has changed. One thing for sure is there is no place like NYC and LI!! BTW, I didn't mention it, but damn black trucks look awesome when they are clean and yours looks awesome especially being exposed to the NY elements! I am kinda partial to black Lightnings though.

you called me old

Sorry, that just made my day.

The laws of physics don't always go with what you "think" will happen, I have realised that 1 too many times, so I know not to do stupid **** where other people's property might come into play.

Mabey I am strange, but I would rather roll my truck into a ditch and total it rather than do a "sick burnout" into the back of somone else's only way to get to work or take their children to school.

Learn how to drive. anyone with anything even resembling driving experience wouldn't have even gotten the adrenaline flowing on that one. Get over it, and/or go back to driving school.

adrenaline has nothing to do with it. somone else's property does.

in 1,3,5,30 who knows how many years somone is gonig to fast in the rain and runs into you, remember this post. They thought they were in control, but 1 simple thing went wrong and ****ed you over royally. THEN you will realise how stupid risking somone else's property is.

Uh, apples and oranges buddy. If the ground was wet and it was raining in that pic I would have yelled and screamed like an idiot too...but it wasn't. When it rains, it removes the ability to "know" normal actions and reactions of a vehicle under stress. But simply peeling out in a parking lot?

The very post itself was about the fact that he's had the truck for FOUR years. You think he doesn't know almost exactly how that truck is going to react when he gets on it?

example... change it to anything that could happen while ****ing off in a vehicle... tire popping, old man falling off the curb into your path, etc etc...

the strangest **** happens, but when it does you could hurt some innocent person, or change their living condition.

nuff said.

Oh, good point... that old man in the walker bearing in quickly in his blind spot nearly lost his life. If only we were all as smart and safe as you!
