Rob

I run Nitto DR's on my truck as a daily driver. Even in the 400/500, the f1's were useless under any throttle. BIG difference with the DR's. I don't think they are any worse in the rain then the F1's.

Did it occur to anyone critcizing Rob that he may have started the burnout between the car and the gate, instead of ending it there?

Good to see you having fun with it, Rob. I, too like the stock look. At least the back is sitting level.

We've all done stupid stuff, that could have resulted in damage to our trucks, ourselves, or other people's property. If you haven't, then you've not lived up to the true Lightning experiance .

Truck looks great Rob, black is so hard to keep up!

Thanks again All
Somehow it's stay cleaned all week too and still looks as good
(of course it's suppose to rain over the weekend though) &)(^)^)@^)#@#$

Hey Sal how you been I stopped by the Saturday before last but you weren't there, (out of State I believe) ?
I'm doing front springs next weekend and wanted to talk to you about my options to get the back down a little more???

And for the Record, YES I STARTED AT THE GATE, the pic was taken at the end of the day (from the opposite direction).
And I hate to admit it, but this is normal everyday stuff for me

Tallimeca and....
Are the 555R's def a better move than those BF's, I've heard a lot of good feedback on the BF's too ??? I mean hell my rear tires only have maybe 2K on them, but as said I truly dont expect them to make 3K this time.

LA where you been ? sorry to hear bout the fender bender, is the Beast back to normal ???

I'm still around... I feel like all I ever do is work though, that's pretty much it. My truck will never be back to normal.. It's running great, I guess that's all that matters!

I am not aware of any BFG drag radials available in a good size for our stock wheels. Rumers fly about a MT DR in 18" coming out soon.
Until someone offers a better drag radial, the Nitto DRs are the best choice for street fun. They wear pretty well(probably 10k if you don't get stupid), and handle fine in the rain. Much better grip than the F1s.
Unfortunately with the power we put down they can still be overwhelmed at speeds less than 40 mph or so.

Rob, that trash can on the right was at risk!!! ya could of hit it samiam513, criticize someone from a picture on a Lightning forum because you deem a poor decision was made with the label of idiot In your sig it says "Don't criticize somone before you walk a mile in their shoes." ??????????

maybe you just had a bad day and the ("Debbie Downer" SNL ) in you came to the surface...we've all been there.

Its amazing how well the black paint has held up without a garage going on 5 years, nice job. With your driving style and H.P. Rob It will be difficult to get 3K out of the 555 DR's, and they are expensive for 3K of fun. Since you have fun on the street with burnouts you might as well stay with a less expensive tire.........I watched a set of 555 DR's turn to slicks in 3K with mild abuse, others may have had better luck with them. The only other tire I've run has been the F-1s.

hey champ, quote the full thought when you quote somone.

MY SIG

Don't criticize somone before you walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you do criticize them you are a mile away and have their shoes.

Notice the joke? Take it out of context and yes you are right, but quote the full saying and no, you are not right.

Nice try!

I cant be the champ ..... I knowingly quoted your sig out of context and failed to get away with it

I didnt notice the joke Is that sig supposed to be funny ? I know when you typed it in the Signature section it seemed money, but it's not. Then after you hit "save signature" and looked at it again after it was posted, you smiled with joy…..but you just don't have "it" champ. "It" being the ability to compose a humorous sig.
