Need your prayers everyone **IMPORTANT**
I haven't been on here in a while. I've been way too stressed out to bother with trivial things such as computers. This is what's going on:
Some of you know that Metallic Blue is my boyfriend. Some of you know he has Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Lately, things have been getting worse. He has no energy. He only has SOME energy after he eats. But it only lasts for about 20-30 mins, if not less. I have to help him with eating food sometimes, or to help him with his clothes.
He has lost about 40-50 lbs since December and now weighs around 140-150. He used to be 200 in December. We have been to an endocrinologist, and since it was a first time visit, not much was actually done. He has intense pain in his stomach area right after he eats.
I have to help him stand up from the couch. He has slept on the couch the past 3-5 nights because he can't get up to go into the bedroom. I've stayed in the living room with him, moving all the bedding out onto the floor to stay by him. The doctor acknowledged "something" is very wrong, but thinks it is a combination of a couple different things. The only thing that was slightly abnormal was he had slightly low blood pressure.
I feel completely helpless here. I sometimes wish I had gone to med school and studied about the human body more. I'm just asking for you all to keep Mike (metallic blue) in your prayers, because he is the love of my life, and if anything were to happen to him I don't know if I could deal with it.
I appreciate you all taking the time to read this. I know that if this were the case for someone you loved I would pray for them too.

Hang in there, Mike...I hope the docs come through for ya real soon, to stop your suffering. Good luck and best wishes!

He is certainly in my thoughts and prayers, however more important than prayer is competent medical attention. The symptoms you desccribe appear serious. Call his endocrinologist and describe these symptoms to him in detail. If you dont get a decent response. Get him an appt for a visit with another endocrinologist. If that isnt possible consider taking him to the best teaching hospital in your area. I have been diabetic for 12 years and have experience with these kinds of Dr's.
Good luck

Sure hope you two get a handle on his physical problems quickly. i sure his mothers condition has exhausted both of you. tell him we are thinking of all of you, and try to get him to see someone else ASAP.

Heed Silver_2000's advice. Run, fly or use a dog sled if necessary, to get to the nearest center that specializes in these things! Don't wait around for your present Dr. to admit he's stumped.
No "L" owner shall go before his or her time.
It's not Mike's time!
Godspeed!

My best hopes to MetallicBlue and sxyscorpio, you will both be remembered and prayed for. I actually may be heading down that same path... it's possible I may have hypoglycemia as well, but we're trying to keep an eye on it. Godspeed and good luck!
