Cams

Are the left and right side cams exactly the same?

No....if you try to swap the two you will notice it right away...nothing lines up.

If I remember right there was a number stamped in them and there was a "R" and a "L" to it. I went off what the boxs said.

Well, you could put them in backwards, but then you'd have one timing gear on the back of the motor .
