I'm sure some will jump in with higher, but I'll start it off: stock heads/cams, stock exhaust manifolds, ported eaton @ 16 pounds: 452RWHP/584RWTQ

I believe Frank made about 700 rwhp with stock block and heads/cams but that was with a turbo, not nitrous.

514/603SAE on my old KB stock block combo. It probably made 525/615 or so at some point. Maybe more when I upped the pulley combo and it blew on the 3rd WOT

I ran my built shortblock with stock heads, stock cams from PSP for TWO YEARS and had not one single problem. Don't go discouraging someone from doing what they want because you couldn't make it work. I really can't stand how you are an expert on EVERYTHING on this board, yet when you have a problem you know nothing of what causes it. If you are gonna make posts with more wooooohooooo, and incoherent rambling and ?!@#$#@%$$#@ just keep it to yourself.

For the record, my truck made 470 on the street program and 93 octane, and a 8lb lower on a ported eaton with a stock upper. Hope that helps.

This summer a guy up here in the NW was dyno tuned up to some ungodly HP number I repeat DYNO tuned and then took it to the track and proceded to melt it. It had a bunch of stock equipement and a boat load of nitrous.

I think there is a moral in there somewhere.

Correct me if im wrong, but back in the days some of the top tuners where running pretty big amounts of Nitrous, built lowers and stock uppers I think. Jan. 2003 MM&FF magazine Lightning shootout.

Number one, PSP was the one WHO COULDNT MAKE IT WORK, NOT ME
AND I have never claimed to be an expert and I'm not, I just tell it like it is and DONT sweep schitt under the rug like the rest of you.
and name one problem I ever had that I couldn't explain ?????
AMOF there's not ONE PROBLEM this nightmare of mine has had that CANT directly point to the factory heads cams springs....
Yes people have gone to amazing ET's and power levels before with it,
(I was on my way to a 10.9 - 11.1 when mine let loose) but I bet there's not a person on this board (other than you I guess) that would recommend building a hi power n20 motor TODAY using the stock heads cams springs.

Waveblaster-Whats up your a$$ again. You come on here and slam a well known and respected member of the boards just because he was giving his opinion as asked. You should have just done the same and kept your personal
views out of it. You have a bad habit of stirring up chit,I noticed on the SRT10 forums after you found out what "The Sickness" did for a living you shut up and disappeared all of a sudden, esp. after he offered you a mapquest to his house!
I see your only 26 years old.....buy yourself a Honda and hang out where you belong. You dont deserve to own a Lightning..........

WOW ! Those are good #'s what are your Mods. I have a 02 with APTEN port but, with a safe tune nowhere close to those numbers.

Well I do have the money to do a whole built long block, but this is what I think. How much HP can it gain with lets say stage 2 heads and cams? 60-70 HP? For how much over $2000? Now a shot of juice of about 100hp will give me the gain of 100 hp maybe a lil more and for how much, around $1000 for a complete kit.
