for me, blame it on certain yr L stock springs, too much boost, a improper tune, whatever, but it didn't work from day one, and it ended up costing me a motor now.

Yes people have gone to amazing ET's and power levels before with it,
(I was on my way to a 10.9 - 11.1 when mine let loose) but I bet there's not a person on this board (other than you I guess) that would recommend building a hi power n20 motor TODAY using the stock heads cams springs.
AND I have never claimed to be an expert and I'm not, I just tell it like it is and DONT sweep schitt under the rug like the rest of you.

My torque convertor decided it was time to die, and I was able to only get an 11.8 out of it.
When the new PI convertor went in, I decided it was time to put a built motor in before my luck ran out.
As has been said, it's all in the tune

Every single time you had a problem you threw out every possible explanation in the world, but when it came down to it it was because you were trying to force 22-25lbs of boost and a 150 shot through stock springs and heads.
HE SAID AAAAAAAAAA shot, not a 150 shot. You don't need to try to discourage everyone on this board from going a certain route because it didn't work for you.
And to whomever said about the SRT forum, yes I would drive to texas because someone got their feelings hurt because I said their trucks don't run for ****. I have had 5 tuners tune me through the years, (NOT TWO), and my parts come from at least 20 diff vendors. I buy from who "I" want to and I get tuned from who "I" decide is best for my current situation.
I am not idolized nor do I ever want to be, but I have done more for this community than you will in your lifetime so I wont even waste my time with the "Rob hasnt done anything" remark
I was running 12's on F-1's weeks after I bought my truck, 11's by the first spring with a mere 75 shot, 1.5 60ft's on the stock convertor and so much more. AMOF there wasn't "1" wrong decision "I" made on my L "before" the new motor. Every entire mod, every change "I" made was for the better.
It was "after the new motor" that it was never the same, AND I DIDNT BUILD IT, so stop blaming "ME". It was fk'd up from the day it first started, til the day it blew up, YOU DO THE MATH.

Last time I dynoed @ JDM, I was down 20 HP and 30TQ, yet today we ran over a half tenth quicker and one mph faster.

hey iam not taking sides here.but last year at carlsbad(before they closed)i ran 11.9 @ 114 with a 4l.b. pulley and a 75 shot.and also made a pass on my street tires and after a working on the launch i ran a 12.2.so its definetly possible.(12.9 without nitrous on street tires)
