Burninout, I blew a sidewall out on one of my goodyears and since the others are in !bad! shape (ask someone who's seen my treads) I decided to replace them all around. The tires are lower profile than the eagles but I think they are worth every penny. Granted, I wont be doing as many smoky burnouts just for show as I used to, but the difference in grip is amazing. While they do have a lower tread life rating because they are softer, I think that will actually add to my tire life because they resist chunking a little more. I found that the goodyears had a major problem with that.
I will probably wind up using the goodyears as front tires when I'm on the drag strip.

Question

Hey Nathan:

You went with the 295/35/18's Isn't that tire only 26 inches tall? How far off is your speedometer?? Also, how does it look with the wheel well exposed 1 more inch?

Is the ride that much more harsh. When I went from 16 inch to 17 inch on my Stang, I sure could feel every pebble in the road.
