I believe Eaton, KB, Magnum, etc are all knock offs of the original supercharger. As is traction bars, throttle bodies, CAI, heads, cams, gears, brake pads, rotters, and the list keeps going. Knockoffs are a single hub nut that holds on a wheel that is very common in the road racing circle. Drag Racing? I knocked off several racers in the Division IV Finals at Ennis this year, and my guess is they would not like being called knockoffs.

That is the real deal Mike. Only the original isn't a knockoff, and if you could and had thought of it first you would be copying and selling just like all the rest. The SCT Tuner is a knockoff of? SC, Diablo, ????? There all knockoffs, and getting cheaper and cheaper. What is on your truck that is "original" and not something someone else copied? I have been in this Lightning crap since June 3rd 1999 and all I have seen is knockoff intakes, exhaust, traction bars, throttle bodies, etc and because someone like Edlebrock didn't make it, or hire someone to machine it, it isn't any good? I took exhaust clamps and made 1.62 60fts happen for traction control. I guess I should have marketed them as "Gen 2 Traction Control" along with my "Ram Air Hood and Box" all knockoffs of something I saw and did myself.

 

Those are not the ones I refer to, but it is the tuning thing that bothers me.........and the R&D he refers to........Come on Smurf daddy we know the real deal and sometimes it bothers me to hear him say that. Now you my not take credit for the tuning, but that is your choice........but I don't remember him telling folk that SP was doing his tuning before either.......so on the tuning end he just needs to drop saying he is a tuner before a real tuner calls him out.

i think everyone that is bitchin and moaning about tuning whether or not it is from the man that sells the product or he is simply getting a tune from SCT or wherever, should get a life and go rent a **** or something.. take your anger and frustration out on that... oh and dont drag Sal or his company name PSP into this BS.. Sal is a great guy as well as a great tuner, and i know for a fact everything he does to his customers vehicles are done by him and him only... only 2 guys on this forum have a personal gripe with LFP.. maybe you guys should go see Judge Judy and cry to her!! handle your problems amongst yourselves, leave the tears out of the forum and for all of us please go change your diapers, bunch of whining little babies!!!

 

OH, I half to bring Sal into this, I saw him in the skirt and know excatly how he does his business. I have used Sal many times on my own personal Lightning. Best damn tuner there is or ever was and ever will be. No I am not afraid to say so, and if I had a problem he would be my 1st sorce for info. Would love to pick his brain forever. If I wanted to push my truck to the limit, he would be the one to do it. I probably had the quickest of all the 390 RWHP trucks around due to getting to the ground. Sal tuned and I setup the suspension.

 

Good stuff im always happy to meet a fellow PSP supporter... well apperantly im in good shape so far with my 500/600 setup on the stock bottom... it will be that way till the new engine is built..
