No problem guys. I have been caught up in interet drama before. It happens pretty easy on the internet when people don't hold anything back like they do in person.

I will probably be changing my most aggressive tune on my chip from 23* to 22* and only run it when I'm on full c16. I got most of the motor back in yesterday and will put the accessories on Sunday morning. I will be in a much better mood when it's running again.

On a side not, I got a new mod from Reichard Racing to try out on the Lightning. I don't think anyone else has one on their lightning and he told me the Cobra guys are picking up about 20-30 hp with it. I'll keep you posted.

Yes. It goes between the turkey bowl and the intercooler manifold to raise the intercooler up about a half inch. I had to beat the hell out of the firewall to clear my JLP intake and new spacer. I'm also not looking forward to putting my egr tube on. Like all of his stuff, it looks awesome and I can definately see how it would help airflow by making a less aggressive curve up into the runners. We'll see. I'll get some pics of it up tomorrow.

Just take the EGR crap off then you don't have to worry about it. Get it all back together by the 15th

You goin to Cruisin weekend in OC next weekend?

WOW on how fast you turned that head gasket issues around
CONGRATS
and believe me I know how it makes you feel when your Baby aint right,
I dont even have mine right now, hence the reason I'm a little antsy myself.

You mentioned being use to having motors handle more timing, your right,
but not these L's, and usually it demands less as your HP and Mods grow,
for instance you'll hear lots of KB owners say they are running as low as 12 degrees, others maybe 14-16, and even on race programs 18-20 seems to be the max for a KB. The Eatons will take more, I use to run 19 degrees on N20 side and 21 on the street side, BUT now that I have a Magnum Powers SC,
I cant run more than 16 degrees or it'll just toast plugs and actually lose HP.

Are you running a Water Injection System ?
Cause WOW I got to tell you that 23 may be the highest I've heard yet
And personally I looooooooooooooooove timing, just cant have any myself anymore (@$%@*$&%@*$%@$*%@*$%@$*@%$*@$

If its to big of a pain i will just remove it. I was gonna delete it when the truck was running right any way. I didn't want change anything, just in case it didn't run right when I put it back together I would have less things to check. Hopefully everything should be alright by tomorrow. I have my son next weekend so no cruise for me, but I will definately be at Ford fever.

I would have gotten it running yesterday, but it fought me tooth and nail all day. Nothing went smoothly this time. Last time it practically installed itself. Maybe this time it will stay in awhile longer.
I kept picking power up on the dyno, thats why I kept upping the timing. Unfortunately the added load at the track bit me in the azz. No water injection, just an ice box reservoir from wjm5806. Hopefully my next track experience will be a little more fun.

Hey Shane, I forget about how we would get the EGR stuff to reach with the spacer on. No worry we will get her back together. I have yet to have one not run on the first start up yet with any problems. Damn I think I have spent more time on your truck than my own. That's cool though cause when you beat me I can atleast say I helped built it(twice).

Whatever works. Your truck will be right there with me by the time our track rental gets here.

Oh, and don't shoot me, I'm just relaying the info .
Sal, I would never harm you I am a Christian. I will however defend my self if provoked!

I think I still have the e-mail you sent me when we had our last tango.

Matter of fact skip it!

I'm not going to go out of my way to defend Mr Ford especially since Monday they are supposed to fire 400 Salary employees and lay off another 2700 by the end of the year, this came out in the Detroit Free press!

God Bless,

Suavy

Did the church finally take that pesky little scripture about turning the other cheek out of the bible?

It's about time. I always wanted to be a christian, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna just stand around and take an **** woopin for it.

I'm in if we can just do something about the drinking and wild women part. I can't possibly give that up. Oh yeah....and cussing has to be allowed too.

So if we can just take care of those few little issues...I'm in... .

Rocks, that was funny!

No the Bible hasn't changed and you are supposed to turn the other cheek. However, I'm gonna have to pray on that one!

I stopped drinking and have been married for 29 years to the same wonderful lady! I still have been struggling with my potty mouth but I'm under construction!

Peace,

Suavy

I had to run the widshield washer line inside the hood and the egr wasn't too bad to connect, but everything else looks good. Here's the spacer. It's about 1/2 inch thick.

I'll probably start a thread about it once I get some new dyno #'s.
