Yep, mine will be my daily driver as soon as it's done. A 50 mile round trip 5 days a week, plus driving it to the track whenever I go race. I've been using borrowed vehicles for damn near 4 months now. I used to have a spare vehicle I commuted in, but sold it right before I started on my TT project. I'm definitely ready to start driving and enjoying my Lightning again!

Parish's truck is awesome though...you can't really beat a 4WD launch.

i got the truck into the high 10's for less than $30k including the cost of the truck(it was used). $15k for the truck and a little less than $15k in mods.

i have been geting some good deals on things since then, without geting out all of my reciepts i would guess it would take about $50k to replicate what i have now.

funny how i can go from 16's to 10's for $15k in mods and to get into the 9's cost another $20k in mods

the truck definately has more in it than 10.20's, i think high 9's will be prety easy to work into but no idea how much quicker than that it might be. it takes a lot of hp to move 5000lbs.

This thread is kinda funny in parts. Who decides who's in what league? Why does 1 truck that gets driven "whenever" any different than another truck that could be doesnt? I dont drive either one of my trucks but maybe 1 time a week. But yes I consider my Powerstroke my daily driver. Could I drive the lightning daily? SURE. I did it quite a bit the past summer when diesel was more than premium fuel. It still has a/c and all that frilly goo, for now.

Parish, That about sums it up. We've talked before and I hope you get to make it to LightningFest. I'd really like to check out a fellow turbo truck in person!

Frank
