Rob, what DID you run in the heat (MPH & ET)?

You have stock heads (no porting) and stock valve sizes? No cams? I know you're running an Eaton again, what mods are you currently on?

Only reason to go to the track between now and November is to
be with good freinds and have a bunch of fun ... The records come later
in the cool weather ... I ran mine in late October ...

I did nearly identical ETs and speeds last week. It was 89F & I was at full weight including hitch and spare. Ran all 13.1s @ 104-106mph. (nitto 404s)

55° hotter (102°) at the track made me slow down over a 1/2 second.
12.68 @ 108mph in 47° (had 100oct +track prog. too)
13.35 @ 102mph in 102° (had 93oct +street prog. too)

That's good info TXSVTLIGHTNING. I guess I won't drive mine into the lake just yet.

Man, these trucks turn into junk in the heat. It's gotta be because of the S/C and that the Eaton's make alot of heat to begin with.
