In any respect Ford won't do anything for you; and there is a suspicion by some that maybe Ford knows better, as it designed a vehicle to last well over 100k miles, and although there is no valid reason for excessive oil in the intake doing your engine any good and many reasons why it can be detrimental to performance, I've never seen on here any documented case of where the standard PCV system as installed and operational on our trucks, has ever caused engine damage. But most of want to eliminate the excessive oil in the intake, or eliminate it altogether - so my best suggestion is search all the info and make a decison as what "you" think best overall to do.
Unfortunately, this is true for more manufacturers than just Ford. LS1s (and now LS2s) have major issues with this. In fact, a guy here in town that runs a local CNC shop fabbed up a nice catch can for one of his buddies. Word spread among the local LS1 guys and then on to the 'Net. This shop that intricate parts from exotic metals has now started making and selling catch cans as a regular part of their business - and they can't keep them on the shelf.
