I had that problem about 2 months ago, I decided to lean it out a bit, well that was the wrong decision. I had ended up spinning a lower main bearing. I know, what was this idiot thinking!
I had the lower half of the engine rebuilt, and since then, I had some minor changes to the lower half, and I haven't seen that problem as of yet. I was told this by the service manager, your s/c is drawing too much oil and that is why your seeing it. I really wasn't sure if there was any validity to it, but oh well.

You're right - this subject "oil in the intake" has been discussed on here for years. If you did a search on here and on NLOC as you indicated, then you found that despite a lot of guys spending a lot time on theory and practice and hundreds of posts and photos of "fixes" on here (many very informative and well worth reading), there is no one "fix" that seems to work for everyone. What "fix" works for one, doesn't seem to work well for another. The closest "fix" that many seem to like is the L & S Separator - you can search info on it - I believe he's a supporting vendor on here. The only way out, that will eliminate oil in the intake system is to eliminate the PCV system altogether and running breathers on the valve covers - although if you're in a state that requires emissions testing, this could be a problem for you - and not everyone really likes this idea either - as you don't then have any vacuum pulling fresh air into your crankcase to mix with the blowby gases and more effectively evacuate them. And - you do a search on here, and interestingly enough - you'll find some guys running in the 12's who didnt do anything - left the PCV system alone.
In any respect Ford won't do anything for you; and there is a suspicion by some that maybe Ford knows better, as it designed a vehicle to last well over 100k miles, and although there is no valid reason for excessive oil in the intake doing your engine any good and many reasons why it can be detrimental to performance, I've never seen on here any documented case of where the standard PCV system as installed and operational on our trucks, has ever caused engine damage. But most of want to eliminate the excessive oil in the intake, or eliminate it altogether - so my best suggestion is search all the info and make a decison as what "you" think best overall to do.

what he said
I would add, although Robert's correct comment that no "documented case of engine damage was proven to be caused as a result of the stock PCV system" the possibility that the oil blowby contributed to detonation and rod spitting on many a "blown motor" is an arguable question..........
