Does you J Jent ent lower grill stick out?

1st off it is supposed to be an overlay right?

I have it over the stock grill and it looks like it sticks out like a 1/2 inch. I plan on cutting the stock grill back a little to make it more flush, but just want to see if I did something wrong before I hack it up.
Thanks

I think thats the way they all do, since you don't remove the stock grille.

I'm not 100% on this but i think a 99 L grill will make it fit better. I saw a Lightning with those grill's and he had a 99 grill behind it. I recomend looking into the galleries of hear and NLOC. Once you find someone with one, then E-mail them.

Contact ACWALSH over on the Harley boards (www.nhtoc.com).

He made brackets for a bunch of guys for their J-Jent lowers, with awesome results! Now they have a flush fitting lower, they way it should be, with no need for the stock plastic lower.
