Just curious if anyone knows the spring pressure for the comp behive spring for our trucks. Having my heads put back together and just want to see if the springs are still at there proper rate.

Found it, but figured id post it for anybodys eles needs

 

They are 80# at the seat (1.64" installation height) Thats the height your builder should use to test them.

Give me a call, I'll tell you how to upgrade your seat pressure for better performance.

Jay, the 95 pounds they call out on the link you provided is at 1.57" installed height. The standard install height if you just install the springs is 1.64"; the seat pressure at that install height is 80 pounds. An installation height of 1.57" requires a .070" shim that Comp Cams does not tell you about when ordering their Stage II cams. I'll tell you how to do better then that when you call tomorrow, with your cam I think we should be able to get 100 pounds at the seat.
