Truck is done..help me

Well I started up the truck and heard a weird sound. Sounded like some kind of metal contact either in the engine or supercharger. I took the belt of the blower and cranked it up, the noise is gone. I put the belt on and the sound returns.

So I dont know if this was smart or not but... I took it for a ride and during accelleration it seems like the engine (front of truck) shakes up and down and the supercharger noise sounds weird... it gets worse

Under WOT I used to see 15lbs, no I see 2!

What the heck is going on?!?!?!?

Sounds like the boost bypass valve is setup wrong or the blower is trashed....

The bypass lines are all set up correctly

Is there any reason the blower could screw up

I had it ported 2 months ago

What the hell were you thinking driving it?

Take the blower off and poke around, you probably spun a bearing in the rear of the case.

Most likely it is rotor to sase contact due to a warped sc case. It happened to mine after being ported. It is why I went to the MP case.
If it is not damaged too bad Steig. Can reclearance it for you.

Take the belt off the blower and turn the upper pulley slowley by hand see if you feel and grinding or hitting going on. If so your blower must come back off and be checked out.

Peace,

Suavy

I took the belt off and tried to spin it and it seems fine to me, no catching.
Guess I will be taking it off.

Vacuum Line

I had that happen to me, there is a large vacuum line on the driverside toward the front of the blower base. That can fall off and you will have no boost, no power etc.
