Eds 01 Lightnin,

We can't figure it out either. There are millions of 97 - 03 F150's out there. I literally begged them to make more but they wouldn't do it. They say that they're concentrating on the Mustang and newer truck market, plus experiencing growing pains. Go figure!

We have 5 kits left.

They will continue to be available. That's the good news.

Just to clarify (I am slow) won't the spindles require a c-notch for the rear to sit right?

Not if you stick with the stock springs or some with only a bit of drop.

Not even close. C-notch is not until about a 4" drop.

Ordered the spindles yesterday and I got the last set.

No worry, Belltech has tons of them.

I just can't wait to do this. Fine tuning the suspension both front and back and it will be sooooooooooo nice.

For us '03/'04 guys what about removing one leaf? Along with some shackles wouldn't the "stock" ride basically be retained on all four corners, along with the spindles of course?

I would do the hangers and shackles with a 6 degree shim on the axle along with the end links front and back.

I used Western chassis products and the quality was great. I am sure other companies make good stuff too.

That's why I thought that removing the 2nd from the bottom leaf from an 03 or newer would drop it enough along with a shackle.

With the JLP shackles I have already on, it lowered it a little over 2". So I thought if in addition a leaf is removed wouldn't the rear sit about right to work with the spindles, concerning rake, and still retain the stock ride along with avoiding new hangers.
