i had some pacesetter ceramic coated shorties on an LT1 car. i could see daylight coming through the welds in a couple places when I got them (brand new). Had a muffler shop spot weld them in a couple places and they seemed fine after that. Overall quality was crap though. There were several areas that I filed down inside the tubes extensively before I put them on. they fit fine and are still holding up fine to my knowledge but I would never buy pacesetter again. there's a reason they are cheap. pretty sure they farm all their stuff out to a shop/shops in mexico, or did at the time.

a good header is worth its weight in gold. dealing with crap headers on old chebys, i will always spends a little extra for ease of installation, performance and longevity.
