For a second I was going to be SO pissed! I called and talked to them and they said they weren't going to make them.

http://www.pacesetterexhaust.com/

I checked the website and they do not have any application for our trucks, or any 5.4L.

Long--- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33631

Short--- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33631

If you click on pricing they list
long 70-2226 1999-03 F150, 2WD, 4.6L/5.4L, Long Tube 439.95
short 70-1327 97-01 F150/250, Expedition, 5.4L, Shorty Header 319.95

They don't list the long tube under "PaceSetter Headers for Trucks"
They do list the short tube under "Shorty Headers for Pickups and SUVs"

I wouldn't buy them personally. Pacesetter typically makes garbage. Horrible garbage.

There aren't any flanges at the ends of these headers...

you can always have them ceramic coated. Most Power coating places also do ceramic coating.

These are VERY interesting. However, there is no way in H3LL I'm taking my bassani shorty's off.

Oh come on - they're short! How hard could they be?

And on topic - the rust on those units shown is due to poor prep before coating or cheap coating. Get 'em bare, get 'em blasted, then do HPC on them inside and out and similar things will not happen to you.

I am curious too about how they are supposed to connect with no collector flanges.

for that price they are worth a try. just weld on some flanges when you get them, then have them coated.

they do have a 3" collector, which no other ones i know of have. that would be nice for a higher hp truck.

L-Menace thats not very creative slap some converters on the back of the headers and go behind the frame cross member like 4x4's do you guys are getting creative i like that. and if you have a cat back system like the bassani true duals well...then maybee you can make up the extra room with going over the rear axel and coming out harley style i know it would leave a gap in the sideskirt but atleast you wouldnt spend 2 hours cleaning that 1 wheel....just some thoughts

I think they would be worth a try on a truck making over 600rwhp. I wouldn't try them on an average truck though. They've got huge 1 3/4" primaries. I'd think a lower hp truck would see a big torque loss.
