Wow, This sounds like a really cool project. Could you give us some specifics on the project? Like:
what kind of turbos are you using?
air to air or air to water intercooler?
Who is doing all the plumbing?
and the most difficult, what are you doing for an intake manifold? I guess if you are doing a complete twin turbo system you can probably also afford a sheetmetal intake. Who is building your intake?
Sorry for so many questions I just think this is the coolest project.
Oh yea keep posting Pics!!!

I'll be running some Precision 61 turbos and a couple of Tial 44mm wastegates. I will be using a Precision 950HP Air to Air IC like this one:

It will be a perfect fit too.

Plumbing will be done by a local turbo / speed garage. I have a Sullivan Performance Intake, plenum, and fuel rails. See next post for pics.

Thanks Dale...my turbo guy talked to Patrick at Precision and he suggested it after I gave him the space I was putting it in. The IC is 26.75" wide, 14.25" tall, and 4.5" thick. Since there's about 27 3/8" between the frame rails that should be a nice fit and support anything I want to throw at it.

You meant cm right? Not inches, these heads aren't even 30 inches long!

HI!... That was left to right, not front to back.....

The measurements I gave are straight from the FORD MOTORSPORTS book.

I just measured my 2V and Navi engine... look the same to me, roughly 31" wide for both.

ShockTherapy,
Great posts . Keep up the good documentation of the project.

Thanks for the info. I have been checking out the Sullivan Performance intake. What is your impression? Does it look like it will support the high horsepower levels you are going to be making?

I saw on another site, KarKraft.com, Navigator heads for 550.00. Before I dump any money into porting my stock 2-valve heads I may just need to convert to the 4-valve now. It may not be so bad to go 4-valve if you are going turbo anyways.

Thanks for breaking new ground for all of us owners that have been wanting to go 4-valve. I will be watching this thread closely.

The Sullivan intake will support WAY more HP than I'll ever be putting through my engine.
