yeah i figured you knew, I just didn't know where you were going with that question. The lower end can definitely handle it, and my 4V heads should take 6800 RPM no problem. I was taking it easy the other day cutting it off at 6k.

Yeah when you have a small air pump on top, you dont make anymore power after about 5500. I took my stock longblock to 6400 on the dyno with the GT42-76 turbo on it. It was still making over 650RWHP when I got out of it.

Cool Corner Lenses

Hey Shock, Good job on the twin turbo build up! I was wondering where you found the clear corner lenses without the Amber bar at the bottom. I have looked everywhere I can think of. Can you help me out? Thanks. Jason

At 10psi, it was spinning at the top of 1st, through 2nd and into 3rd until he basically had to let out. It was one hell of a ride. I was grinning ear to ear and holding on. He needs some drag radials for sure but either way, he's going to go through tires. It's wild. I'm used to having instant boost and tire roasting power with the SC and then good pulling power as it winds up. Until he gets a converter in there, he'll have some delay for a sec and then the boost starts building quickly and the tires start spinning.

I took some vids of the first 3 dyno pulls that I'll give to Shawn later today.
A 100 shot for about 1 sec. ought to get the turbos spooling!

Don't think I haven't considered that. If the money tree were unlimited I would definitely consider it.

Do a search for lightning parts on ebay. I think thats where everybody is getting theirs. I found a pair like Shocks on ebay and installed them couple weeks ago.

A lot of this is well over my head but I'm curious what is the peak psi you've dyno'd @ and what did you put down @ each psi. The video's no longer work, I'm more interested in your truck on the street than the other vids. Can't even imagine. I hope everything is going well with you and heres to hoping they didn't screw you on costs, anyones guess as to what it was worth.

I just ran across this old thread a few days ago, and I wanted to see those vids too. So I started hacking around his site and found these three. I dont' know if they're the ones that he had linked or not, but here they are. It takes a while for them to load once you click them, so don't give up.
