Those pulleys are tight but not that tight. I put the front of the truck up on stands. Bolted the converter to the bell housing and put a 1/2" breaker bar on the crank at the 6o'clock position and put my back up against the driver side tire and used my foot to break it loose.
Your not gonna break the crankshaft.
Whatever you do I'd figure out how to get it off before you accesory belt breaks and leaves you stuck.

Believe me I wish I could get it off but you don't understand. I have put over 300lb tq on it and it didn't budge. They broke a wrench at the ford place trying to get it off. I have spent over 15 hours my self on it. My dad owns a big rig shop and nothing in there, that will fit in the engine compartment, that will take it off. I pulled my radiator so I could get my 3/4" impact on it and it broke my impact grade wobble head socket. It wouldn't go on directly because of the cross frame thats why I had a wobble head socket on it. So anyway if anyone wants to buy my system I will sell it. I am going to order the 2.60" upper pulley.
I have seen 2 methods work in this case
One is a sawzall and the other is putting about 200+ ft lbs of torque on it and shocking it to break it loose ...
So put your legs into it till the breaker bar is about to bend in half then have someone rap on it with a 3 lb hammer....
Of course the older trucks had a flange that could be unbolted and just replaced.
