Actually, no it is not nonsense at all. Not wearing a seat belt is basically equal to a death wish. You don’t have to be driving at 80mph to be killed in an auto accident and/or seriously injured. You could die in an auto accident and/or injured driving 30mph…

Those who are intelligent wear seat belts. Those that have no brains go without…

It is very sad to hear about this, RIP

I am a Fire Fighter and we respond to alote of auto accidents, our dept'. is responsible for about 25 to 30 miles of I-77 of the W.V. Turnpike. And most of our section of I-77 has many more curves than the rest of T.Pike. They even lowered the speed limit down to 55mph, and the rest of the Turn Pike is 70 mph.I have been on many wrecks, and seat belts do save lives. When I first joined the F.D I never wore my seatbelt, but after seeing how they saved lives,I wear mine now. There has been times where a wreck didnt look bad at all, but people are killed. Then there are wrecks that the car is mangled beyond reconigtion and the person comes out with only a few scratches. I believe there is something to, "when it's your time to go, it's your time", but also why tempt it and not wear your seatbelt. RIGHT!

I really don't want to argue about this. You guys are right. Seat belts save lives. You can walk outside and get hit by lightning to. When it's your time, it's your time. For example, take the guy that died in this accident. You think he set down in the passenger seat and said, "I want to die today, so im not going to wear my set-belt."

I hate seeing stuff like this. RIP

I had a friend involved in an auto accident a few years back. He wasn't wearing a seatbelt, and it was later determined that if he had been wearing a seatbelt he could have more than likely been killed.

if it's your time....
Statistics are very much against not wearing your seat belt being in your favor. But some people like to bring up the one out of a thousand example so they feel better about not wearing one themselves.

How is that nonsense a normal person knows that hey if i put this seat belt on and we get into an accident it will save my life. Then there is the retard that thinks well i really dont need that seatbelt if we are about to get into an accident i will just brace for it. So people obviously dont care about there life if they dont want to put on a seat belt when they know that it would save there life in an accident.
