3.55 gear guys.3.73 gear guys... 4.10 gear guys. (RPM's at 70mph?)

I haven't driven my truck since September and I won't pull it outta storage until late april'ish.

Here's my question.

Guys with 3.55 gears (1999) With STOCK tire size, what is your engine RPM at 70mph?

Guys with 3.73 gears With STOCK tire size, what is your engine RPM at 70mph?

Guys with 4.10 gears (aftermarket) With STOCK tire size, what is your engine RPM at 70MPH?

(already ordered the 4.10's, but with gas prices, I'm reconsidering)

Cool

If I did the math right:

3.55 @ 70 MPH = 2055 RPMs

3.73 @ 70 MPH = 2159 RPMs

4.10 @ 70 MPH = 2373 RPMs

Rockon... That is what I read elsewhere on there. Just wanted to confirm it!

300 more rpm isn't bad at all!

You won't see hardly any differance in milage. Well.. that is once you get over the "HEY! I got 4.10s. Watch this ya'll".

Once the newness and heavy throttle blasts get out of your system... Driving easy is the key to good milage.

And you know, at this power level with steep gears it takes nearly NO THROTTLE to keep up with traffic.
