Guess we will see how mine and Bob's truck last. I've been running the KB since fall of last year with a 8.5 and 8.75 lower; gonna step it up to the 9" lower all the time. Pretty cool to have 2 trucks testin out the factory long blocks here in the same town with the belief that it is actually all in the tune

I see a constant 16 and max 18 with my KB here in Florida. I also have a stock block. I have a motor waiting on ported heads to be finished. Then I will see the Tens! Stock blocks rule.............................only if yours don't blow up!

Spyder the wideband I have mounted on the column is a FJO with greed led display. The control box is sticky taped to the undehood fusebox cover where you need to make two connections for it; key on 12v and ground.

The O2 sensor harness was extended to reach the rear of the left cat on my dynatech long tubes where the sensor is screwed in to a bung. Its a simple deal but I have not hooked up any of the data logging stuff yet.

Bob
How did you extend the o2 sensor Bob and what did you do install the sensor into the factory bung?

Bob -

Yes I had to extend the wideband sensors wire alot because I wanted to mount the control unit for the wideband up in the engine compartment. If you look at this pic you will notice the control unit mounted on top of my underhood fuse box.

The dynatech cats already have a unused bung in the rear of there cats. I just simply removed the plug and installed the sensor there.

Here is a pic of the dynatech cats for reference.

Hope this helps.

Yes I was there with my 2 of my buddy's in a borrowed mini van (we were big pimping). I built a single turbo supra 2002 but sold it in late 03 due to getting married and buying a new house.

I am trying to work some things right now to get back into another Supra with a big single on it and keep my L. It would be pretty bad *** to tow my Supra to Texas 2k6 with my L.

Bob, whose gauge pod do you have?

Looks factory. I like the fact that it keeps the grab handle. I don't know if they all are like that, but I noticed it today on yours.

Thanks,

Greg

Shouldn't the wideband O2 be placed before the cat. with it behind the converter you will get a leaner reading than you will in front of the converter.

The pillar pod is a lotek version that is no longer made from what I understand. The fit is actually not that good. I do want to replace with it something but I have been lazy as of late.

I have not any problems with my wideband being behind the cat. It works just fine. Alot of dyno's use a tail pipe probe but they can .1-.2 leaner then a farther up stream reading. The last time I had the truck tuned the dyno's sensor was installed in front of the cat and there was no difference in the readings.

That sounds good Bob because my O2 sensor for my wideband is going in that rear hole in the cat that now has a plug in it. Are the threads in that dynatech cat the same as the O2 sensor? Just don't want any surprises...thanks

The dynatech cats are designed to accept O2 sensors.

What in your opinion is the best looking, best fitting pod available?
