How would you measure the difference ? That would
be really tough ... Maybe more HP on the Dyno?
Although I can't see Flex contributing too much, Vinnie
says the Roll Cage lowered his 60' times so I dunno ...

I sure could use some flex help .... But $462 is a bit much
methinks ....

Lightbulb Cool idea

I think it will do what they say, but the price is way high, I think I'll pass on this one. It makes me want to learn how to weld, and make my own mods.

I distinctly remeber hearing out of Mr. Brown's mouth in a condescending tone in response to a simple question about tire pressures and setting up a Lightning for the road course.. "I don't do trucks."

Indeed he didn't yet one handed SEVERAL of his customers' in Mustangs their asses and grabbed the best Autocross time of the entire weekend with only 2" shackles and a panhard bar.. Just a truck...

This was brought up on NLOC and it looks to be true. Looks like this will interfere with lift bars. The ride on my Lightning has gone down the crapper and I would do just about anything to get it back. Looks like it could be a nice piece but would need conformation it does not effect my lift bars. -Mat-

I would not bet on this piece doing anything for ride comfort. Look to springs, shocks, and bump stops there.

For the "lift bars" (God, I hate even saying that), there are many other traction bar designs that will get the job done, so I wouldn't let that stop you. Couldn't some taller brackets be made to accomodate the KB piece?

I can see the KB piece helping but the bar size is small and the length is pretty long so the twist is helped but not that much. But if you could see how flimsy the frame is after the cab you would know that it does help.Look at the thread Vinnie wrote, saying his 60' time dropped becasue of the cage he put in.That is a direct effect of the rear section of frame twisting.Good idea maybe I would look at doing something similiar?Stan

Oh I know about the springs and such. After I get a couple more bucks in the bank, I plan on talking to Stan about some springs and QA1's all the way around. -Mat-
