My L is lower than yours i have to cut two dunuts of my bumpstop.

Thanks Teamsvt,
I was speaking to Sue from JLP last night and she recommended the same thing. I think I'm going to stick some QA-1's on the back too, I doubt the bilstien are doing anything now.

You can also take the bump stock off, and remove the metal plate that is under it.

Mine is so low in the back that I have had to cut and bend up that flang that stick downward because the swaybar, and axle was hitting

Jeff; you don't think the lack of traction bars had anything to do with ithem cracking do you?

Yes that could have been part of the problem but at the time I was told they would handle anything I could throw at them. I had 3 sets before I gave up... I wanted to save the 75lbs + in weight but I did not want me rearend tearing out of the L either. It looks like bglanden's are made by somebody else. I might give a new set a try and God only knows I can change out those leafs in my sleep...

Maybe you should give JLP's a try, but I would put some bars on there too. The only crack I saw on mine was towards the front. I think JLP charges $600 for new one's. The crack's I see in your photo's look like axle wrap to me, not real severe. I believe JLP got into 9's with the fiberglass spring's?
Best of luck

I like the idea of saving the weight too; how do they do launching on the street/track? And how do they feel daily driving.

BTW Jeff; get the truck running good yet?

The back end bounces around a little bit hitting bumps, I'm going to chop down the stop's, try and relocate the sway bar and buy some QA-1's. It does seem to squat a lot better during a launch.

I was breaking the Glass Springs with Traction Bars.

I added the small steel leaf separated by a teflon pad to the Glass Springs.....haven't broke now in two years. Somewhat stiffer in back....better ride IMHO
