From everything I have read, dyno's and hear say, the MP out performs the port by quite a bit. It seems 460hp is about the average on a mp truck on a stock block with mild bolt ons. Much more can be had when you add cams and a built lower.

From what I hear, the MP puts a LARGE smile on the drivers face, but I wouldn't know, my truck is all stock hehe.

To be completely honest i am dissapointed with my Apten port. I got in on the first group buy a while ago I never put the power down that everyone claimed they were getting. I am putting over 500 to the wheels on built short block but my tuner feels it should be a lot more. I'll let you know about the magnum since I'll be strapping one on in about 2 weeks. I hopefully will hit close to the 575 mark

I think you need to read alittle more about the magnum powers blower.

Suavy, will tell you why in a few minutes.

But what i should have put was on a stock block there seems not to be much diffrence ,saw you gotta really turn the crap out of the magnum to get the power? My truck is a daily driver can run it like that all the time lol...

I did some of the first testing for the MP blower.

I can say this I drove my truck daily 156 mile round trip to work to test the daily driver aspect. (No Issues)

We strapped on a 4lb lower, 6 lb, 8lb, and a 16 lb pulley to see how it responded. No issues it responded well and the faster we spun it the more power it made.

So you can use it daily driver and you can swap a pulley and spin the chit out of it to race it.

There has been allot of brows raised about the MP blower. However, as I have stated before this race season will separate the talk from fact. Just like I defend and am in the MP camp there are many that are in the KB camp. That in my opinion is totally understandable.

Let's all enjoy a great race season and let the facts fall where they may. If I fall on my face I will brush my self off and try it again.

Peace,

Suavy

Where can I get a MP for a good price? I am interested in getting a MP. I have an apten right now that I am thinking of selling to get an MP. Please let me know who has an MP in stock for a good price. And if anyone is interested in the apten let me know.
Thanks

you might want to read this thread we @ JLP did testing with the MP and the NEW Designed ported eaton. we tested it at 15# and 17# the results were the ported eaton made more torque and power thru the entire rpm band up to 5,600 rpm's..which we don't reccomend to rev any higher..The MP did show potential but only if used @ 20# of boost or more! Something we don't reccomend on a stock bottom end...This is what we found here @ our shop and on our dyno...JL
