how long ago was MLNIUM supposed to be done like this?

It's a relatively easy project, it should never have taken them this long.

Pictures of Bill's '4V motor' were shown by JDM two years ago...nice Whipple 3.3 case sitting on top what was obviously a Lexan intake becuase it was so clear you couldn't even see the thing.

Two weeks, two years...what's the difference between friends?

Ya, its soo easy I made about six of them out of popcicle sticks when I was ten. Ya, I know, the mod motor wasn't even invented then, but I was thinking ahead. If its so friggin easy how come they aren't out there yet? (I know there are supossedly one or two around somewhere)

I can't wait till that sucker is rollin' and all you guys are eating crow.

They aren't out there yet because of cost.

Who wants to spend 2-3k having a manifold custom made for them? Especially when you can run easy 11's and 10's with 2v heads?

The guys who DO have the money aren't messing with lightning. They have turbo 4v 5.4's in mustangs or are in a completely different area of the hobby because of cost. From a technical aspect there's nothing hard about it, all the parts are out there to make it work, just a little custom machine shop work is needed, but since none of the L tuners have machine shops themselves, this makes the cost of fooling around to make one much much higher. Sean hyland made them several years back, just milled the top off a navigtor intake and the bottom off a lightning intake, weld it togther and voila. Obviously there are some other smaller details to work out, but nothing that cant be solved by poking around the ford parts bin.

Why don't YOU make it happen then......... You seem to have it licked and you'll make quite a bit of money. Since afterall " From a technical aspect there's nothing hard about it".

Eric: you should see the parts pile in my garage. I just don't have the capital to do everything at once, and unlike Rob I don't tell the world every time I buy new wiper blades.

(crow)? Not much has changed, JDM could feed you dog ***** and tell you its a new chocolate tart and you would believe it .

not saying this project wont come together,Im sure it will but JDM doesnt need a band wagon.................

Thers more than a few of you......

Nothing against JDM but no matter what the occasion, some peoples TUNNEL vision is so strong.
