Lightning Dash Kit Revision 2 (pics)

Mark (maker of the kits) will be in full production by next week hopefully. He took our comments to heart and came out with a killer looking faceplate. The rounded edges and beveled inner edges flow much better.
I don't have a picture of this faceplate lit yet, but you can see my prototype in my gallery at http://www.hyperfiberbbq.com/gallery

I love mine, but I'm getting a "revision 2" becuase I think it looks perfect.

Here's thew new one:

PM me for details, email Mark@maptechenterprises.com, or hit his site at www.humount.com

Have a good one!

Is it possible to have the logo located at the top and the HU on the bottom?

Been working with Mark the past 2 weeks for a revised version, one that can accomodate a 1/2 DIN EQ below the head unit. We finalized measurements last night, and he hopes to have mine ready next week. Of course, the "Lightning" logo will be gone, but it'll still look good.

Yep.
I did mine that way strictly because I wanted my flip out monitor to be set higher up.

email him and he'll make it happen!!

My thread at NLOC got deleted because he's not a "supporting vendor" yet so it looks like all the people that check here vs. there will be the lucky ones with the cool custom parts

This thread is approaching the limit here as well..

Its ok to find a great product and tell fellow members about it and discuss it. That happens all the time

But when it looks like you are pimping the product as a mouth piece for the vendor then we put a stop to it....

In those cases the vendor is using you to get free advertising in violation of our rules

Silver 2000 - no pimping, we swear. I don't even know the vendor, just stumbled on his website. He does good work, and is one of the few people doing custom stuff just for our L's. So please don't delete - for everyone out there, just go to his website or call him.

Silver, please don't delete this thread. I was looking for a better dash kit than the chincy plastic ones whe have to go with and ran across his site. I emailed him and he has been overly nice in helping me get mine made. He shipped me my unit before he got any money. I'm sorry if I sound like I'm pimping the kit. I just really appreciate people going the extra mile to make custom parts, and he definmitely did with these.

thanks,
Josh
