I have the Borla and am going to change to 2 Flowmaster one chamber racing mufflers. After hearing a sound clip of an L with one without headers or High flow cats I'm sold, and they only cost $75.

Cat-back is a good idea, but highflow midsw/cats would be good idea. Magnaflow makes best perfformance/qaulity for the price IMO. Headers will do little for you untilyou make BIG power.

I'm getting the magna-flow catback....(the double mufflers)

IMO they sound sick as hell....like the JDM Silver Bullet for instance.

Bassanni equal length headers, gutted cats and flowmaster american thunder catback. VERY loud, but sounds great and I love it.

I agree about the Magnaflow for sound and quality, but I think that for people who want a little more sound without hi-flow cats or headers the Magnaflow singles with an external X sound exceptional IMO. My 14x9's are stacked right om top of one another and it sounds sweet! Lous when you want it to be and no annoying drone at cruising speeds.

SilverBullet as well love the sound deep and loud.

Silver00SVT how big was the sound diffrence when you changed to highflow cats, or did you do the bullet and cats together?

The world is full of search *****. If they don't know the answer, it is easier to just say "Use the search button" instead of just saying "I don't know the answer, but I just want a free post".

there was a day/night diffrence when I added the high flow cats. I have a sound clip over on lightningrodder.com of it if you wanna check it out.

hey BringMeASunkist if you wanna save a little money on a catback and still have it sound good give terry a call. He runs performanceresearch over in duncinville. He has a wild and a mild setup for a good price.

Is your truck stock? If so, I believe the stock exhaust is good up to about 450HP. I did not see any gains in changing the exhaust(catback only) w/ a cai and programmer. I would put my money into a FTFB and a 4# lower w/programmer. If all you want is sound for a stocker Maggies are a good choice.
