exhausted lightning
Wow, there is so much here, I'm kina in over my head. I'm going to look into these companies, and Silver00SVT, thanks for the site, im gonna check that out now. This has been a huge help. And I'm assuming I can easily find clips of the sound on the companys' sites?

oh btw, did u see the review on the Bassani BX system, apparently its 200 dollars cheaper than the regular cat-back and sounds just as good. Only difference is materials. So if ur going for just cat-back, check it out, sounds like a good deal. https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...hreadid=182951
I too just got my BX series in yesterday and plan to get it on tommorow. As for you question BringMeASunkist there is a sound clip of it under the exhaust section. If you decied to get it let me know. Also check out talonclub.com. If you are not there allready.
I did a custom exhaust catback that consists of a magnaflow trueflow x-pipe and dual borla xr-1 sportsman mufflers (12"), I love the sound and the x-pipe is a must! The sound is a mean growling sound while cruising but at idle it is a tad louder than stock, but when you start it up it is evident there has been exhaust work done. At WOT the sound is almost a screaming nascar'ish sound, very intimidating sound overall. I am curious to see how it would sound with highflow cats

Bassani Hands Down. It has that old Muscle Car Sound that has a nice deep rumble at idle and as you step into the throttle, it really opens up. No resonation in the cab (unlike other kits), tru-dual muffler (no resonators or glasspacks) with external X-Pipe which gives it a better flow, tips fill up the entire void in the skirt, and they use the highest grade steel you can buy.
hey bringmeasunkist
I may have my silverbullet for sale if the lowballer backs out. It has less than 5k miles on it and I am asking $300+shipping. He came back with $250 and he drive up from austin and get it. You can save on shipping and get a nice setup. It is the updated kit with all stainless stell and 4" tips as well. If he backs out I will let you know

Side Exit
I don't own a Lightning yet, I'd love to buy one but have to pay off my Expy first. But my question is, and please keep in mind I've never looked under a L, but how come they run dual exhaust out of one side only...Wouldn't it look sweet to have 2 pipes sticking out of both passenger and drivers side? I'm not sure if anyone has done this or if its even possible, but I'm curious
I think the main reason you don’t see one of the exhaust exit out the drivers side is a safety concern. Since the fuel tank would be right above the exhaust if you spilled some gas on it at the station you might have a fire…
Do any of the vendor’s sale the Bassani BX? I know Chikenears sales the S.S. Bassani but not the BX.
