number one

Tom, that Audi was awesome, quite a impressive ride I got in it that day, WOO HOO

I got to ask you something, was your problems coolant system related ????

I only asked because when you dropped me off that day, I smelled a BAD Anti-Freeze smell. Not bad like it's leaking.
BAD like you had a major issue / problem.

I would have said something, but you seemed to be in a hurry

Josh just left, we were talking about you,
ONLY ONE THING TO DO

Get another Lightning and a beater. Right now I'm driving my 88' Ford Danger Ranger while the L hibernates for the winter. Up in CT we got 12 to 18 inches on the way, glad the L is napping.

I know of a Silver one for sale. I realize it's not Sonic Blue but I bet you'd have zero issues with it.

(sorry for the shameless plug..had to)

Same here Dan. Either 04 Z06 or 05 Vette with Z-51 package. I hope I don't regret it! Still kicking it around right now.

I am still thinking about getting another s4 or maybe an s4 avant (wagon) just because the car (when not broken) is just amazing.
If I don't go that way I do not know what to do.

I made the decision to sell the L because of all the issues I had with it but also because I owned 2 cars that were not functional during a NY / VT winter. So if I buy another L I will be right back in that place.

I am going to test drive a caddy srx and a land rover LR3 to see what I think about that if I decide against a "sports car/truck"

Not sure what to do, I guess I could always get a beater for the snow days.

Anyone know of any sonic blues around NY? I think if I go this route I may try this color to see if it is faster than BLACK!

Hi Halflife,

(iīm posting from germany)

A freind of me got a Audi S4 last year.
The first 3 month he was the happiest guy around. But than the problems begun!

He got many electrical problems with his S4. but the most dangerous problem after the electrical was fixed, was his transmission.
He couldnīt get into the second gear.
Now his car is in the service every few days. He would never buy a S4 again !

I drove the S4 too. But i would say this is not a funCar like the Lightning. Itīs fast but you feel every pound of his weight!

Itīs a nice family car for travelling on the "Autobahn"

Do the right thing .....

.......get the Lightning !

Funny you ask...... been waiting on a deal on a 2002 True Blue for 2 months now that fell through. Was on AutoTrader last night and found a Sonic Blue 2003 L, called and left a message with the dealer. First thing this morning, received a call, and what do ya know...... put a deposit on the truck. Should pick it up this weekend! Can't wait.
