Everyone says this but then again everyone has their own way of doing it. Does anyone have the "right way"? I just put on new pads and rotors but all i've ever heard was to be easy on them for a while.

Did you install or did you have them installed at a shop. If a shop did the job they probably made a feeble attempt at bedding. I think you'll notice a poor bedding job more with ceramic pads.

I think Tire Rack has them or try Rotorpros on ebay.

At the same time get the Hawks Super Duty pads. They will dust but they stop and they last.

Great for street and track.

If you run up the ****** of another car or truck, a little dust will become totally irrelevant at that point in time.

Unclemole are you saying

those 2 part numbers for Motorcraft pads are not dusting or light dust for 10k miles? Presume these are not the stock numbers for our original pads? Mine is a street driven only daily driver with little aggressive driving. Low dust, good stopping pads for this?
Thanks!

I'd say about 10% of the dust from the OE pads, hardly noticeable at the weekly wash. Stopping is as good as the OE and noticeably better than the ceramix. The Ford OE pads were over $100 per set, front or rear and dusted bad! I'm happy with the Motorcraft so far.

Unclemole, thanks for feedback!

Made note of those part numbers. Anybody else using Motorcraft BR50/BR3 pads? Thanks!
