Oil in my Throttle Body

I know this is a common problem with Lightnings, today I took the air box off at the throttle body and there was oil in my throttle body. So my question is what can I do to fix this. I am planning on ordering some PCV valves from Lightning Enterprise, and the Greddy Oil Cath Tank. I also plan on putting baffles in the Oil Catch Tank because I am a machinest so I should be able to figure it out. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Common problem for most of us. Do a"search" on here and you'll find all kinds of info from several years, the "goods" and "bads" of all proposed solutions, including the ones you mentioned.

Make an oil seperator. Less than $20 bucks and took 15 minutes to install. I can send you the link if you need it.

If you found oil in the TB, there's a good chance your InterCooler & lower plenum are also covered in oil. I got rid of the PVC system completely on my L & put breathers on the valve covers - only thing that will work - completely removes any chance of oil getting into the intake system.

Made my own seperator from the detailed link you'll find with a search.

Glad I did it to my truck now, while it is new.
and still clean.

I am going to use the Lightning Force Performance Oil Seperator that powerstroker suggested.
Also in the spring I plan to clean the intercooler and anything else I find with oil on it. How much of a pain in the *** is it?

At the very least, owners should install a separator. If you want to be charged an extra 250% and have one that doesn't fit properly, buy one from the vendors. The key to fitting properly is the fitting which includes the 90 degree bend. I have the exact parts needed in my gallery3.
