Since choosing to use it after testing was never mentioned, breezing over couldn't logically even apply. My intention was to provide a parts list to those who choose to use a separator. .

sorry for the misunderstanding max ......

it sounded like you were saying that since its on the underhood schematic it should be there and it removes the oil from the system. So you "breezed over" why its not there and you say it removes the oil. thats all.....Why do you choose to be negative in this thread ?

well lets post sound conclusions then...do you have to agree with them to be considered sound? does this include your posts ? or just others?

thanks max ....Im blushing ...I just have opinions like yours... Lets not regulate this thread to my experiences with this issue....hang in there max, dont get mad and ruin this thread because I wanted you to clarify why you mentioned the under hood schematic.....and you did.....you implied nothing you were just stating a fact its there., cool thanks

Thanks for verifying that you misunderstood. I appreciate your clarifications, as they providing credence to each of my initial statements. Individual members will decide what, if any, oil control information they deem valuable. As usual, threads are Self-regulative. It's apparent to informed members why PCV threads become ruined and nauseating. Cool, thanks

Max, I have read a lot of old threads and like your solution.

I looked at your parts list and totally understand everything except the parts coming out of RT side of seperation...the Cap, 1/8" NPT with 11/32 OD O-ring inside.

Hate to be so stupid...can you elaberate more on these parts and how they connect to the plenum?

Thanks a lot!

Bill,
Not stupid ! ...ask me anything, anytime.
On the right side of the separator is ONE fitting. It's a male 1/4"NPT X 3/8" barbed fitting. The 3/8" barb slides directly into the factory black rubber adapter in the photo. When you pull BOTH ends of the factory plastic tube from this area, you'll see right where both ends of the separator assembly barb in. The "Cap: 1/8"NPT with 11/32"O.D. O-Ring inside" is simply the cap on the bottom of the bowl. Silver in the photo, it covers the valve on the bottom of the bowl. Happy retirement and Welcome from up the road.

Max,
I finally rounded up all of the parts today! Might mention to everyone that the filter is located in the air compressor parts at my Walmart!

One more question! Does this application change any air flow or effect any monitoring levels performed by the MAS or computer that will require adjustments?

Or, can I just install it and blow and go?

Thanks
