scv8: The early rear leaf springs have 5 leaves like the late ones, But they have fewer clamps to keep them aligned. Strange. Anyway, the same trick done on the 2000 springs brought the truck down another 2 inches. I dont see any difference in ride and the traction seems to be about the same. I feel like saying "what traction?", but at the price of the Goodyears, I'm pretty good about rolling it out before I nail it. There's a set of traction bars in my future. Oh, I do have an extra set of early springs, so let me know if you would like to try 'em.

Kerno- Thank you for the reply! That sounds really good. Please let me know if you'd like to sell your other set.

Thanks
