Ok Guys My 03 L should be here in about a month. I have already contacted Troyer Performance about at 4 LBer chip and filter. However for you guys who have vent shades on the window and hood, where did you purchase them?

weather tech makes the best window vents. they slide into the window track and you can take them off in 2 seconds for when you go through the car wash if you feel the need to. they dont stick out as far either compared to the taped on ones. its just my preference but i dont like the idea of the taped on ones. heres where you can buy them from

not the best pic but here they are on my truck

Cool

I've got the Weathertech vent visors on the windows. Great fit, low profile.

On the hood I have the Ventshade Bugflector II. Perfect fit, 1 minute installation.

Believe it or not, the plastic mounting hardware they give you with it lines up perfectly with the factory holes in the hood. No drilling or tape, etc.

If you don't like the Ventshade logo on the bug deflector, you can rub it off with your fingernail.

Not trying to hijack your thread Fowl, but does anyone know if they make those vent shades in clear plastic? I want to paint the back side of them silver to match the L.

I have them on mine. Came that way from the dealer. They have a "Ford" symbol stamed on them so you should be able to get them from your local dealer, or cheaper online. They are not the tape on type. I think they look pretty sharp.
