I am not impressed with the new 6.0 powerjoke at all. I have ALWAYS been a fan of diesel power and SOUND! I would have gotten one when I was looking for a tow vehicle but was stuck going with the Avalanche(which I am in love with now) because of my trade in. My father recently picked up an 04' F350 Harley truck. My Avalanche has an air intake, catback and programmer. He has an air intake, turbo back exhaust and a programmer. He truck BARELY pulls me. If we leave from a stop I am gone while the powerjoke is waiting for turbo spool. I am not impressed at all. I would expect to be walked all over. I dunno. I will stick with my gas jobber. My 8100 sounds like a Duramax when I start it up so I can pretend too! That is the one thing I hate about it. It is downright embarassing. Otherwise I have no regrets. -Mat-

There is around a 2,000 pound weight difference between an F350 Crew cab short bed 4X4 and an Avalanche.

Ding Ding Ding!

I honestly think the new turbo evolution is right around the corner for our trucks, and I promise to be one of Sal's guinea pigs once he gets a kit up for sale. I miss my turbo so bad. Being able to adjust the boost in-cab is SUCH an advantage over swapping pulleys, and as cool as the supercharger whine is, turbo spool is sooooo sweet to me.

LET'S GO SAL!!!!!!!! DADDY WANTS TO PLAY WITH THE WHISTLE!!!

Why is it taking so long to work up a turbo kit for the L's? There's been a ton of development on turbo kits for the Mustangs for years - I'd figure one of those tuners would have jumped on the L bandwagon by now.

Sal at PSP

The customer kit won't be as extreme as his ride, but should prove to be fun

The Mustang market is slightly larger than the Lightning market.

The specs I saw had the 350 at 73XX pounds and the Avalanche at 54XX pounds.
