For me, it was the racing pad compounds that seem to do it in...didn't peel until then. If it's your show wheels, you'll be good. I ran my old chrome-stock rims as my track race rims and peeled the chrome in a season...

Good info, Dan. Thanks.

I don't run stock compound pads, and don't plan lots of road racing for the truck. However, it is often my daily driver, unless the weather is just horrible.

Hopefully I'll be ok.
