just got beat, wheels are definelty gone.
I run 20" Nitto 404's and they hook as good or better than my F1's. I cut 1.94 60' on them and 1.99 60' on the F1's on street boost setting.
Just ease out of the hole and get all the weight planted thennnnnn......gas it hard!!!

I don't understand the desire of people to thug out these high-performance trucks. Either you are going to pimp or perform, but not both at the same time.
The stock 18's and 555DR's in the street are your best friend!

Im putting my 20's on in the spring, for a couple of reasons. One, looks will be greatly improved. Two, the tires for 20's are as cheap as or cheaper than f1's, and should last longer. Thirdly, i've done the drag radial route, loved the tires, but cant keep um for more than 8,000 miles, so i bought hoosiers for all that racing stuff. Basically, i could care less about the street or racing on it for that matter, because its a rarity when you run accrossed something thats a challenge. All i ever run into is bolt on mustang's and its hardly a point in racing. So i say if you want the style and look, go for it, whats it going to do slow u down a couple 10ths? or not allow a hole shot, that is basically getting near impossible to do anyway with any street radial. I do understand your happenstance. Tires win races is a good quote for this instance. I made a mistake in running an LS1 with wet conditions and thus could not get traction. Lesson learned. This particular LS1 owner respects the fact that if I HOOK, he is toast.

No, your reply was honest, just like mine. If you think you are gonna hurt my feelings by saying something like that, you are mistaken and will have to try and dig further. Yes I made a stupid decision, but never once did I but others and myself at danger. -Mat-

Instead you let your internet savvy take over and type B.S.

Hmmm I pull 1.8x 60 ft's on my 20in Goodyear ....(forget what kind) of tires. From a 50-60 roll I slightly pull all of my friends cammed (one has heads too) LS1 cars up until about 90 or so and then they put me to their rear bumper above 90 because of my dumpster like aerodynamics.

Hardheadman: Maybe the conditions weren't that bad, but you clearly stated you were in wet conditions. Just as Matt read that, I read that as the roads are wet! (I know thats a leap of the imagination!) And yes, Matt was right, we are to assume from that statement that you are a F'ing idiot for racing in those conditions. Again, we weren't there, we just jumped to that wild conclusion from your discription of "wet" roads!
