Thumbs up New Toyo Proxes S/T's

Had a set installed this morning! More aggressive looking than the F1's...ride well...over all a good looking tire! And, only $818.50 including installation and front end alignment! Hopefully, they'll last longer than the F1's!!

They will, they're a harder tire.

I've still got a new pair if anyone wants them, I don't need them.

I liked mine at first and said so but after some 20,000 miles(still have more than half the tread left), I find they're slick as owl snot.....................

They are slick as owl snot, but they do work good in the rain and last longer than the F1's. You got slicks for the track anyway..

I'm going back to 20's again, I have the 295/40/20 Toyo Proxes ST to put on my new rims, when I decide which rims to get..

Thank god...I thought it was only my head. I remember thinking the Toyo's hooked up pretty well when I got them, but these days it's like being on glass. I'd rather have them be bald than have them look new and act bald..nittos are next for me.

I guess if looks is what you like then you found a winner!

Although i would prefer tires that grab the pavement.

DL - I still have your old replica 20's (after buying them from Eric)... Same tires still, and there is still good tread left...

I do agree though, they are not anywhere near the stickiest tire, but for long term wear I could not imagine a better choice...

They are a V-rated tire, you don't by them to be sticky.

i guess everyone sayin they are slick is using them on 18s b/c on my 20s they are never slick, maybe its the extra rubber and rotating size helping traction out.
