Missing CD cartridge

I just bought a '01 Ford Lightning with a missing cartridge in the CD changer.Does anybody have any suggestions on where I can get a replacemant?Will Ford carry this part?

I will help you, I had the same problem. I took my truck to a stereo shop and he looked at it and had three Clarion cartragies. We tried all of them and found the one that fit. It is not hard to find just tell them you have a Clarion changer. The cost was 28.00 should not be anymore.

Thanks alot, I'm going to head out this morning and pick one up.I cant handle all the commercials on the radio.Im going to buy a aftermarket sattelite head in a couple months but I need this working until then.

You can get it from the dealer, i took deliver of my new 02 and it was missing, they shipped one out to me. Also, you can install the satelite radio with the stock radio. just need and FM adapter

Ford Sells the cartridge for 100.00 This is when I priced it out. 28.00 sounds better unless you bought from Ford.

I had a Clarion DXZ745MP installed with sattelite radio today.Sounds much better than stock at 52watts*4.Anybody need a factory head or CD changer minus cartridge let me know.
