right? I think everyone should go out and run 140 mph
everyday, while I sit at home and only drive that fast on a track.

I think your on to something here
I guess theirs no moral reason not to profit from idiots because we all do it
I would probably donate it to charity....

Not missing the point at all. If people accepted responsibility for their actions then there would be no need to have a law that tells an office when, where, and under what conditions they can pursue someone. It is simple, office turns their lights on you pull over, end of story…

1- the L owner was a moron
2- the officers involved in the chase had a responsability to protect the interest of the public
3- in engaging in persuit, they endangered the public since there was no commision of a felony
4- as a LEO they broke persuit policy which was created to stop this kind of "event" from happening
This has nothing to do with the "moron" from accepting responsability, he's dead, I think he has come to terms with his recklessness

Why do people think it's wrong only for the Lightning guy to break the law but the person whose sworn duty is to uphold the law is allowed to totally ignore it and push not one, but now two 4,000+ lb projectiles on the open highway at speeds of over 120MPH? Does that somehow make everyone feel a little safer? We all know the "L" driver was an irresponsible idiot but the little piggy wasn't exactly the brightest, shiniest, penny in the till now was he?
