Guys, WTF is this.

Some of you know my previous post on my L studdering. Well, I took out a plug just to look at it to see if anything mite be wrong. Well, let me just say that it has green on it.

Is that normal? I don't think anybody else having their plugs turn green. WTF is it.

Change your brand of gas to 76 and see if it goes away. From my experience its the additives in Super Unleaded that build up on the plugs

I think its 76 that gives you high octane 92 without fancy keeping your engine clean stuff.

it has been said that GREEN equals LEAN...

you might want to check your tune and your air/fuel.

usually fuel additives will turn a plug reddish in color.

I've been using the new Shell V-power for a few tanks and my plugs are REALLY weird colored. lots of detergents in there, their advertising is not just BS.

here's some more info on reading plugs:

http://www.autolite.com/tech/PlugTips.pdf

good luck.

later,
chris

green is lean and by the looks of the plug very lean. You may have a burnt plug in the bunch somewhere. Lean could cause detonation and truck runs like crap.

Pull the rest...

Green usually means that you are running too hot of a plug. Try one step colder.

Kindof looks like oil on the treads of the plug, and that could be oil deposits burnt onto the plug.

you got algae growing in your engine?

get one of those algae eater fish at the pet store and stick it in you intake. That'll clear right up

it could be fungus........has your truck been hanging out with any skeezy imports??? you better get some penacillin fuel additive quick, otherwise you might get the oil drip
