This are the two picks I have for heads that I am considering.

Patriot Perf, Stage II Assembled $1,295.00 pair no Exchange.
flow 217 cfm intake and
189 cfm exhaust @ .550"

5 angle valve job

Fox Lake Stage I Assembled heads $1495 with exchange
flow 200 cfm intake and
182 cfm exhaust @ .550"

Think that there are 3 angle valve job.

Which one would be more suited for a daily driver street/track application?

Still working on CAM selecion

what I'd like to know is has anybody INDEPENDENTLY flow benched a set of these heads to VERIFY the advertised airflow?

or is everybody just going by the published CFMs?

I'm NOT saying that the advertised numbers aren't accurate.

I AM saying that I don't believe everything I read. especially when the somebody that wrote it is trying to sell me something.

just my .02

later,
chris

Don't the Patriot heads use stock cams??

They use whatever you want to pay for.
A completely build head is around 2k.

Some tuners are using heads ported by M2, others use heads ported by Fox Lake or Patriot and still others use TEA. Some tuners use Comp Cams while others use Crowers. Name your poison...

Between the two heads neither of them flow enough cfm to make them horrible daily drivers thus I would go with the Patriots. The patriot heads on my WS6 flowed 322cfm/247cfm and it drove perfectly fine. You need to be more selective with your cam choice if your worried about daily driveability.
