Removing the center leaf from the 2003/2004 spring pack and adding a 2 " shackle will lower the rear so that the rear bumper is about 1.5" below the rear bumper of a 1999/2002. It also improves the ride. My drop shackles have two sets of holes. Obviously, the upper holes make the truck sit lower than the lower holes. I'm running a set 1999/2000 springs, with the next to longest leaf removed and am using the lowermost holes in the shackles. I have stock 2003 front springs and the rear sits about 1/2 higher than the front. If level is what you're looking for, it's pretty darn close. I had to cut the bump stops so they're about 1 inch high. If you don't cut 'em, it will bottom out too quickly. I think that I'm about as low as I can go without having to c-notch the frame.

What I have installed is the 'newer' style Hotchkis TVS kit. Includes springs and swaybars. I also added the Hotchkis Bilsteins. Handling is amazing. Feels solid and tight. Just the way I want it. I believe the drop it a 2-3"(not 100% sure). If you want only the drop, you can buy the springs separately too. Let us know what you decide on.

Here is how my 04' sits with 2" rear shackles, Hotchkis rear leaf springs, Ground Force 1" drop front springs with 1/2 a coil cut off for a total of a little over a 1 1/2" drop up front.

The truck rides just how I want it to with this setup
