lowering-been reading and reading (experts come in)

ok i have been reading and reading, but have not come to a conclusion as to what would be the best lowering set up for me!

I have an 04 lightning with 2" rear shackles in it now (not level enuff)

I have 22" wheels on it, otherwise stock (execpt for the shackles) and i want to get a NOTICABLE drop, but not to low, and i want it to still ride decent! The truck is a lease (plan on buying it out) so they are kinda *****s about warrenty, please help me out!

thanks

I personally would go with around a 1/2 drop. What size tires are you running? The biggest hurdle is to achieve your drop without having the front tires rub...

how much would the stock 01-02 leaf springs lower my 2004 with 2" rear shackles? (ruff guess)

or how much would it lower the back end if I remove a leaf spring and the 2" shackles?

The 2001 rear leaf springs should lower the back around 2 inches

here is a pic of my 2001 truck with 2 inch rear shackles and 1 inch lower front springs

RUSLOW has nice springs, but would stiffen your ride some. someone used to have a silver truck with 22's or 23's and had a 3/4 drop, and it looked really nice and low.

I have 20x10 rims with 275/40-20 up front and 315/35-20's in the rear. My tires have a overall diameter of 28.6 which is allmost exactlly the same as the stock F1's

My front springs are Bell Tech 4803 springs I got from summit

If you want the same stance but want a stiffer ride go with the Hotchkis front springs
